Whistler

After a day without driving, we crossed back into Canada for the trip up to Whistler.  Another beautiful drive, another fun day, and another trip to the hospital.  This time it was Henry who took a turn for the worse.

Rash, fever, and a red and swollen tongue.  Probably strep.  The good news is, the BC healthcare system has treated us well, and all they've asked for are our Manitoba health cards.  Some antibiotics and we were on our way.

While Henry and Papa were at the hospital, the rest of us explored Whistler Village with Aunt Dorothea.  Whistler is still riding high on last year's Winter Olympics.  A photo in front of the Olympic rings is mandatory:

The Olympic mascots are also still here, and they're super cool!

We watched the downhill mountain bikers rip up the slopes.

We checked out a playground.

And we went to Cow`s for ice cream and funny t-shirts.

And here are a few cute shots of Greta.

Everything at home is just fine, Fishy is doing great but I think he/she? is lonely without all the usual action;). We have already had SEVEN very tasty tomatoes so thank you very much! Hope everyone stays healthy and can't wait to hear all your stories when you get home. Drive carefully. Hugs, Erin, Willem and Maelle
