Prologue #2

We have countertops!

It delayed the start of the road trip somewhat, as we didn't finish until late last night and now we still have to pack.  But it HAD to get done before we could leave.  How long has it been since we've had real countertops?  Well, Colin couldn't remember what the old ones looked like, that's how long it's been.

And now, finally, the concrete is in:

They are as heavy as they look.  We are extremely grateful for the assistance of four strong neighbours, without whom we would still have 2 large pieces of concrete in the carport.
